Team / Parent / Alumni Tailgate Party: Saturday, April 3, 2010
A Northside College Prep Track Team / Parent / Alumni Tailgate Party will take place in River Park (or on the picnic tables behind the Northside Cafeteria) after the 10th Annual Mather Invitational on Saturday, April 3, 2010. The meet will feature over 25 Teams, and is the largest Track Meet taking place this Saturday in Illinois. Medals will be awarded to the top six athletes in each event. A special thanks to Mather Head Track Coach Dale DeVinney for hosting the Mather Invitational for the tenth consecutive year!
A Northside Tailgate party will take place after the meet. In order to make the Tailgate Party successful, we need Northside Parents to sign-up to bring finger-food, drinks, paperware, and plastic ware to the party.
Email Northside Head Coach Jon Gordon at Jongordon9@aol.com to sign-up to bring a food dish, side dish, drinks, paperare and/or plastic ware to the Tailgate Party. We will later post a complete list of items being brought to the Tailgate Party. THANKS.
The 10th Annual Mather Invitational is a Varsity level meet with three entries per event per Team. Field Events will commence at 10:00 AM. Track Events will run on a rolling schedule. The meet also features unlimited entries in the OPEN MILE, and an unlimited amount of 4x400m Relays for each TEAM. As a result, ALL available members of the Northside Track & Field Team will be participating in the meet. Meet Packets will be distributed in practice. Northside athletes should arrive at the meet by 9:39 AM. Thanks.
