Charlton County Baseball

The Indians traveled to Turner County on Tuesday to finish up the regular season and region schedule.  Jesse King took the mound for the Indians and was fantastic all day.  King gave up just two hits in 6 innings of work while striking out 7.  LJ Talley scorched a triple down the 1st base line in the top of the sixth and was driven home by a basehit to right center field off the bat of Ryan Young.  That was all the scoring on the night.  LJ Talley closed the game out for the Indians throwing 1 scoreless inning for Charlton.  Final score 1-0.   The Charlton County Indians go undefeated in region play (14-0) and move to 23-2 on the season.   The state playoffs begin on May 3.  The Indians will host and are awaiting their match-up.
