The Indians won tonight, beating Clinch in a 9 inning game to move into second place in the Region 2A standings.
Leading hitters:
Cody Warren: 2 for 3 with a 2-run home run, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI
Chris Smith: 2 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI
Jacob Baxter: 1 for 5
Ryan Young: 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored
Winning Pitcher: Jesse King, came on in relief in the 6th inning to get the win. 3 2/3 innings pitched allowing 0 earned runs. Chris Smith started the game and pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing 3 earned runs. Both pitchers struck out 4 batters.
Region Record: 3-2, Overall Record: 8-4
