Wet night at Indian Field. The skies opened up after the first inning on Senior Night! Jacob Baxter, Ryan Young, Scott Beasley, Jacob Popham, and Ryan Murray where the 5 seniors being honored along with our Senior Diamond Girls (Billie Birchall, Chelsea Beard, Britney Cribb). Things got a little dicey for the Indians during this very soggy game. Indians found themselves down 3-1 going into the bottom of the 6th. Ryan Young had pitched a great game, threw 6 complete innings and struck out 13 on the night. Charlton got one back in the bottowm of the 6th. Richard Dasher came on to pitch the 7th with the score 3-2, Clinch. Dasher strikes out the side! Indians, in the bottom of the 7th get a couple on thanks to a hit batsman and a walk. Jacob Baxter hits a blast to the right center gap off the wall to tie the game. After Clinch loaded the bases to create a force, Richard Dasher walks.......Indians WIN!
