Ilderton Junior, Jeff Latta, threw a complete game no-hitter against the St. Thomas Cardinals on Thursday night at Emslie Field. Jeff struck out 15 and did not walk a batter as Ilderton beat St. Thomas 9 - 0. Jeff had a perfect game going into the 6th inning before Ilderton committed an infield error to allow a base runner. Jeff played his minor baseball in Lucan and Ilderton before playing 3 years with the Midget Badger organization. He is also a graduate of Sauk Valley Junior College where he was voted a conference all-star in his final season. Jeff has had 3 previous no-hitters all with the Midget Badgers. Congratulations on a superb pitching performance!
