9U SPIKES QUALIFY!!! Please read for update on upcoming World Series events.........

As you recall, one of our team goals this year was to qualify for World Series events in USSSA, BPA & Super Series. Well, we have had a great season so far and have surpassed our goal by qualifying for ALL THREE sanctioning bodies!! We have elected to enter two of these World Series Tournaments - the USSSA & BPA . The decision was made to pass on the Super Series Nationals due to the fact that it overlapped with both the USSSA & BPA tournament dates AND it was in Kansas City, Missouri.
USSSA World Series/Nationals - opening ceremonies are currently scheduled for Tuesday, July 19th at 3:00pm in Owensboro, KY. The team is requested to be there wearing full uniforms. If you or the parent cannot be there but your son is available to be there, please contact one of your coaches. We would be happy to provide rides as needed. Additionally, there will be a mandatory coaches meeting that same day at 11:00am.
BPA World Series - opening ceremonies are scheduled and will be either Wednesday, July 27 in the evening or Thursday, July 28 during the day or evening. As soon as plans have been finalized, we will let you know.
The Opening Ceremonies are expected to be a very special event so we encourage each and every one of you to make every effort to have your son in attendance.
As many as 140 teams for the three age divisions are expected to be in attendance at the USSSA World Series/Nationals (9U, 11U & 13U) and 90 plus teams are anticipated for the BPA World Series which has 13 states feeding into the Northern Zone BPA World Series. We will be seeing top notch teams at these events. Everyone will either have won a qualifying tournament or placed as runner up to be there. Expect some very GOOD competition!
During both series there will be a "Team Pin Trading" event. This has become a very popular part of the tourney events. Official Southern Indiana Spikes pins team pins have been ordered and each team member will have the option to purchase these pins. Contact your team manager or coaches for details.
