The RoughRiders overcame a 12-0 halftime deficit to the defeat the Invaders 13-12. Invaders QB Michael Hawkins completed touchdowns passes to WR Tony Jeter and BB Arthur Anderson to give the Invaders a 12-0 lead. The missing of both 2-point conversion kick attempts would come back to haunt the Invaders. The Roughriders rallied and scored on two broken pass plays. On their first score, the Riders were able to convert a 1-point conversion kick, which proved to be the difference.
