Congratulations to the 2005-06 Armstrong Girls Basketball team for winning the Section 5AAAA title and competing in the Minnesota Girls State Tournament. Check out this website of pictures taken by Jeff Thimell (Armstrong Sports Pictures) Game Highlights Section 5AAAA championship - March 10, 2006 The Falcons turned around a regular season ending 1-12 record and completed an unbelievable 3-0 run in the section tournament with a 67-53 win over Cooper. The Falcons were led by Megan Shea with a career high 31 points and Jackie Swenson (12). Section 5AAAA semi-final - March 8, 2006 The Falcons upset top-seeded Maple Grove 52-45. The Falcons were led by Steph Loobeek (22 points) and Megan Shea (14). Section 5AAAA quarter-final - March 4, 2006 The Falcons upset 4th-seeded Osseo 40-34. The Falcons were led by Rachel Gunderson (17 points) and Megan Shea (9).
