Roselea travelled to Westview Park Kirriemuir to face Kirrie Thistle, the team that pipped them to the North League title last season. Roselea were looking to open their points total in the Premier League following Saturdays defeat to Livingston Utd.

Roselea made a couple of changes to the team that started on the Saturday.

In a keenly contested first half Roselea had the better of the play but could not find a way past the Kirrie defence. Three minutes into the second half Calum WATSON pounced at the near post to give the visitors the lead.

With Roselea looking to add to their lead Kirrie had a great 15 minutes of pressure which saw them equalise then take the lead. LUNAN headed home from close range when he slammed home a great curling free kick from Russell in 62 minutes and then in 82 minutes LUNAN was again the man for Kirrie when he capitalised on a defensive mix up in the Roselea defence to make it 2-1.

Roselea kept plugging away and also had a great spell of pressure near the end which saw them hit the bar in the dying seconds.
