The JV Falcons swept the Deerfield Beach Bucks 20-0 and 13-1 in a Saturday doubleheader played at Falcons Field.  In Game 1, Jesse Pazienza (3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 3 K, 1 BB) and Kevin Rodriguez (2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2 K, 0 BB) combined on the five inning shutout, while James Penedo (3 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 3 K, 1 BB) and Carlos Lopez (2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 5 K, 0 BB) were equally effective, taking care of business in Game 2.

Despite the solid pitching, the storyline for the Baby Falcons was offense, offense and more offense, as they pounded 12 hits in Game 1 and another 13 hits in Game 2.  While a number of Falcons participated in the hit parade, a couple boys in green had big afternoons:

The Baby Falcons take their 6-1-1 record to Nova on Monday night, where they'll square off against the formidable Titans at 6:30pm.
