The Falcons got back to their winning ways with a 5-2 District win over the West Broward Bobcats.

Alex Sarmiento pitched 5 2/3 innings and had the Bobcats off balance all night to get the win. Sarmiento gave up two unearned runs on 2 hits while striking out 3 and walking 2. Chris Rodriguez came in to close the game out in the 6th inning with 2 outs. Rodriguez struck out 1 and didn't give up a hit in his 1 1/3 innings.

The offense got going in the 3rd inning when AJ Munoz and Andres Rios got back to back hits to lead off the inning.  Miguel Presno got HBP and the bases were loaded for Oscar "Bui" Rodriguez. Oscar stroked a single for 2 RBI's but was thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. After Eric Rivera reached on a fielders choice, Andres Visbal hit a single to drive in 2 more runs and make the score 4-0. Ryan Dodge capped the scoring with another RBI single to make the score 5-0. The offense didn't get anything else going the rest of the night and the Bobcats ended up scoring 2 unearned to make the final score 5-2.

The Falcons (13-4) will be at home again on Thursday for a District game against Everglades. This game was postponed due to rain.
