Charles W. Flanagan High School Baseball

Junior leftfielder Zach Jackson hit 2 rocket home runs, a 3 run shot in the 2nd inning and a game ending walk off 2 run blast in the bottom of the 5th as Flanagan(4-1, 2-0) dimed Western in a game that lasted all of 1 hour and 31 minutes. Corey Witkowski(2-0) pitched a complete game, 3 hit shutout while striking out 6 bringing back memories of his brother (former Falcons ace Glenn Witkowski) and his mastery on the mound.  Senior catcher Ian Castro went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI and Senior 2nd baseman Ali Sanchez had a 2 for 2 night with a walk, RBI and run scored to lead the offense. Western(3-3, 0-1) was led by senior catcher Brett Scarberry who had a 2 for 2 night with a double.
