Mecklenburg County, Virginia’s bid was unanimously accepted by the DBB Board of Directors to host the 2023 DBB World Series (age 13-14 division). The tournament will be held July 21-26, 2023. Everyone is looking forward to a great World Series in Virginia.

Tommy Hailey, DBB Deputy Commissioner, will be the point of contact for the event. The 2023 tournament will be the 61st World Series for the DBB age 13-14 division. Numerous years have elapsed since the organization last played a Boys World Series in Virginia. Mecklenburg County will do an outstanding job as the host.

Parker Park, located in South Hill, is an excellent sports facility for hosting this signature event. With South Hill located directly on interstate 85 near the border of Virginia and North Carolina, this should result in many visitors from our eleven states.
