 Game rules:

(full rules will be on scorer's table of each court)

1. Games will consist of 14-minute halves for grades 3-5; 16-minutes for 6-12, stop on everything.

2. Halftime is 3 minutes

3. Each team has three full timeouts for game, get one additional in overtime.

4. Overtime is 2 minutes; second OT is sudden death.

5. Foul out on 6th foul. There is no 1-on-1 on seventh, there is 2 foul shots on 10th foul of half.

6. Because there is no 30-second clock, there will be 10-second backcourt, held ball called on dribble and held. All other rules are 2016-17 NCAA Women's rules, which means on the release on foul shots, must lineup above the box on foul shots and coaches can call timeout.  

7. Mercy Rule: If teams gets a 25-point lead or more in second half, clock runs from then on (even if deficit goes under 25) for rest of the game except for timeouts. The trailing coach has option to waive this rule. 

8. The official home team is left on the schedule, they will sit on the left side of bench and wear lighter colored uniforms.

Games will be played at Competitive Edge Sports (320 S. Henderson Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19118), Upper Merion Area High School and Springside School (8000 Cherokee St., Phila. PA 19118).  Parking is limited  at CES & Springside so car pooling recommended.

Admission policy: $40 tournament pass (includes Opening Ceremonies); $15 daily, $10 Opening Ceremonies only, under10 free 

Important dates 

June 30 - Opening Ceremonies at Upper Merion Area High School(435 Crossfield Rd., King of Prussia 19406)  football stsdium (or gym if raining). Begins at 7 p.m., teams ask to arrive at 6:30 p.m. Teams encourgaed to have team banner to carry around stadium. Some teams briinging pins to exchange.

July 1 - Pool play games at Competitive Edge Sports (320 S.Henderson Rd., King of Prussia 19406) & Springside School (8000 Cherokee St., Phila. 19118).

July 2 - Pool play and bracket play game at Competitive Edge & Springside School.

July 3 - semifinals and finals at Competitive Edge

Coaches please note:  As this is a national AAU event, NO SCHEDULE REQUESTS will be taken, with the exception of the start of a team's first game and a coach with multiple teams. Also, at this point there will be no refunds  issued as gyms have been paid for and referees assigned based on the current amount of teams entered.
