The positives to take away from this game: we started scoring again (four different goal scorers, five different helpers), you were breaking out of our zone better and there was a lot of excellent passing being done out there.

Speed kills and nothing moves faster than a puck on ice. We will continue to pursue a skating, passing game.

Some things we have to work on: we want the opposition to earn every goal. And we do that by skating as hard as we can, winning all the little battles. In this past game, three out of their four goals were when we stopped skating and watched the game.

So, onto tomorrow: bring your game faces and be prepared to work with efficiency and intensity. Developing these attributes in practice will transfer to your game. In pockets of last night's game, we saw that.

However, it's your job to make sure that you sustain it for a full three periods.

If you can do that, you will be a very hard team to beat.
