The Bucks came out ready to go and showed that to the Rockets by heading to the lockerroom at halftime with a 28-0 lead. They Rockets scored at the end of the 3rd quarter, but the Bucks were too much adding 10 points in the second half. This game extended their opening conference game winning streak to 11 straight years. This was their debut in the Great Lakes Conference after the being asked to leave the PAC12 along with Fairview who also joined the Great Lakes Conference.
