Lumber Company

In JPD Tuesday night "B" league action Lumber Company dropped a close game to Glory Day's (Ken's Beverage) by a final score of 18-14. This was a close game the entire night but in the end Ken's Beverage was too much. Lumber Company can keep their heads up even in defeat, showing they could hang around with the best USSSA "B" team in the state. Leading the LoCo in this contest was Matt Wallace (SS), 4-4, 1 HR, 5 RBIS and Eric Boe (LF), 3-4, 1 HR, 5 RBIs. Kenny Wallace pitched a good game holding an explosive Ken's offense to 18 runs as well as providing a few web gems at balls rocketed back up the middle. LoCo's next game is Friday night at 8:30pm on field #6 against a different Ken's Beverage team. This game will be a tune-up for this weekend's USSSA "D" Qualifier in Joliet.
