The DC United MLK Dream Cup attracted (4) top Div. 1-2/U11 teams in the area to compete in a grueling one day back-to-back tournament held at the Discovery Sports Center in Germantown, MD, on 20 Jan. 2003. Teams played 3-4 games of 2 x 20 min. halves w/2 min. halftime in almost 3-4 hours. Inter Bethesda couldn't get past formidable MSC United in the opener, but managed to prevail over very good FESC Rangers and REST FC '91 teams in the next two games to advance to the championship game against MSC United. IB's offense was shutdown by MSC United who won the match/championship,7-0.
