Special Thank You to Everyone that Participated in the Erindale Tournament
We just wanted to thank everyone that participated in the Erindale tournament the last 2 weekends. Richard, Natalie and I really enjoyed the experience. All of the coaches had nothing but great things to say about all of the kids effort in pulling together over such a short period to put up a very strong effort. A few more plays today and we could have won the last game. We put many of the kids in new situations with new challenges and they did really well.
There were a lot of challenges pulling a team together so late and we plan to be much more organized should we be afforded the chance to run the U8’s next year. We certainly struggled a bit with experience compared to a couple of our opponents.
I also want to thank the organizers at Erindale for putting on a good tournament. Without all the organizers giving up so much time to pull these things together they cannot happen.
