Second place Falcons secure their spot by beating third place Abbotsford 7-1. The game was dominated by the aggressive play of the falcon boys who used their two on one and passing skills to keep pressure on the opposition throughout the game. Notable standouts were Eric and Jonah in midfield who not only setup the remaining goals but combined to score 5 of their own. This is Eric’s second game in a row with a hat trick and jonah’s second game with two goals. Another standout was our new Goalie Rhys Donohue who saved the day several times in the first and second have to ensure we kept the lead. It was great to see two of our newest players, Ben and Sean each with a goal to put the nail in the coffin so to speak. Players without goals who make substantial contributions at the back were Charlie and Aaron who were kept busy with some fancy skills from the Abbotsford forwards. They showed great patience and used the poke tackle with excellent results showing great maturity. Another great win for the team and another great team effort!
