Just wanted to let everyone know there will not be any participation trophies awarded as Tega Cay does not provide trophies for our division. In terms of an end of season event, our team is free to schedule something as we choose.
Dustin, from TC, has confirmed Town Tavern as an option for the end of the season parties. We are more than welcome to explore another option (Village Pizza and Beef O’Brady’s have been options before). We are also more than welcome to schedule an end of the season party at Runde, Turner or Lookout on the weekends free of cost.
Town Tavern
Towne Tavern located off of 160 offers every Tega Cay Parks and Rec head coach and player a free meal when you have your end of the season part at the Tavern. Towne Tavern is offering a new buffet style menu when you set up a team party in Suite 160. There is no cost for the room, non-players children the buffet cost is $5.99, and for parents $7.99. Anyone interested in organizing the end of season event? Given we are likely to end on Halloween, this might be tough. Another thought would be to organize an on field trick or treat and give the players candy from each parent (would require all of us bringing something to the field of at least 11 pieces).
