PLAY LOCATION:
All divisions, all age groups will be played at the Memphis Volleyball Academy (MVA) Training Center located at 7530 Priority Lane * Olive Branch, MS 38654
ADMISSION:
$5 per day- Kids 10 and under free
CHAIRS & OUTSIDE FOOD: Please bring chairs as seating at the facility is limited. There are just a few small bleachers.
Outside food and coolers are permitted.
Team tables within the facility are not permitted due to space limitation. If you would like to setup a table or team tent outside, you are welcome to do so at your own risk.
MVA does not assume responsibility for personal items left inside or outside of the facility including chairs, coolers, team tent, etc or providing a place for them.
COACH CERTIFICATION: For all divisions, one coach, with Impact or higher certification, must be on the bench with the team at all times. (See the Delta Region USAV Tournament Manual for particulars.)
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: The MVA Youth Classic I and II volleyball tournament will not be cancelled due to weather. It is the decision of each coach and/or club whether their team should attempt to travel to a tournament in bad weather. Teams deciding not to attend the tournament will not receive a refund of their tournament entry fee. In addition, those teams must notify the Memphis Volleyball Academy prior to the tournament that they will not participate.
TIE BREAKER RULE
The seeds for teams tied in match record involved in the tie breaker sets are determined by:
Set percentage: The total number of sets played in the pool (sets won divided by total sets played).
The team with the highest set percentage is determined as the Champion.
If the teams are still tied:
Point percentage: Each team’s total points scored divided by the total points scored by the team’s opponents in that pool.
The team with the highest point percentage is determined as the Champion.
If the teams are still tied:
Coin toss.
