Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring Break. We are 8 days away from our first game and I am getting really excited to get this started. I just wanted to keep everyone engaged in what’s going on during this week and next as it will all be a blur once we get started. So, here’s what’s going on:

Week of 19 MARCH: Spring Break week. No team activities…I will say that if any players go out on our practice field to play some lacrosse, that they put the goals back on the concrete when they are done.

Week of 26 March: Week 1 of Games

Monday 26 MARCH: Practice

Tuesday 27 MARCH: Practice + Team Feeding. NOTE: We still do NOT have a volunteer for this feeding. If any of you are interested in hosting a feeding, please let me know at lswhsgirlslax@gmail.com
Practice ends at 7, so we’ll be at your house around 7:15 to eat.

Wednesday 28 MARCH: Game #1 vs St. Teresa’s Academy at STA (57th & Main, KCMO). Varsity has the first game at 4:30pm, JV at 6:00pm. We will gather at LSW’s parking lot by the tennis courts right after school, and because of all the construction on I-470, I would like to leave LSW at 3:00pm to give us enough time to get there and get warmed up. I would recommend taking 150 HWY to I-49/71 HWY north, exit on 55th St and turn left towards Main St. STA has informed me that they have construction going on at their campus, and has asked that we all park at the main parking lot on the south end of campus and make the long walk to the field. The parking lot is on 57th street, just west of Main St. (See attached map) Also, there is a gate fee of $5 per adult, $3 per child. Make sure you have cash on hand. Any parents willing to drive players to the game, please meet me at the LSW parking lot by the tennis courts around 2:50pm.

Thursday 29 MARCH: Practice + Team Feeding. Immediately after practice, we will be attending the team feeding. I will text out the address prior to Thursday’s practice.

Friday 30 MARCH: Game #2 HOME OPENER vs Park Lacrosse. JV at 5:30pm, Varsity at 7:00pm. We would like all the players there by 4:45pm. If anyone is interested in being a game day volunteer, please meet Coach Jay at the game field by 4:45pm. Invite everyone you know out to the games! Let’s pack the stands and make some noise!

Also, for Varsity Players/Parents going to St. Louis on 13-14 APRIL, don’t forget to make your hotel reservation. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Drury Inn in Creve Coeur. Details below:
