Lady Titan LAX Family,

What a week we just had. Our Varsity had a tough two day span early in the week with back to back games between Shawnee Mission and LS North. We had a wonderful come from behind win vs SM, and a tough streetfight against LSN…I believe there is a chance we will face either one (or both) of these teams in the postseason. Our JV continued to roll with wins vs SM, LSN and lastnight’s shutout vs St. James.

Here’s what’s coming up for the next week:

• Sat 22 APRIL – Varsity play date vs STL teams is cancelled.

• Sunday 23 APRIL – We originally had a team feeding scheduled for this date, but the parent that volunteered cannot host anymore. Anyone willing to host, please contact me. We have a couple of parents willing to help, but we just need a place to eat. Sunday feedings are usually at 6pm.

• Monday 24 APRIL – 3 GAMES vs St. Thomas Aquinas at Aquinas HS (11411 Pflumm Rd, Overland Park, KS 66210). The game times are as follows:
  – LSW JV vs Aquinas JV1 @ 6:15pm.
  - LSW JV vs Aquinas JV2 @ 7:15pm
  - LSW Varsity vs Aquinas Varsity at 8:15pm
  It looks to be a long night, but it’s our only game night for the entire week, so let’s push through it as best we can. I will be leaving the LSW Parking lot at 5pm to go to Aquinas. Any parent willing to drive please meet me there. This will be our final away game until the postseason. I have asked the Varsity girls to not show up until the start of the 2nd JV game, so Varsity girls should plan to arrive at 7pm. These will be the final regular season games for the JV team.

• Tuesday 25 APRIL – Practice

• Wednesday 26 APRIL – Team Pictures. Have all players wear their white uniforms and bring their equipment. You can pre-order your picture packages at the following website:

• Thursday 27 APRIL – Practice

• Friday 28 APRIL – Night off!

• Saturday 29 APRIL – PROM! Have fun!

We are doing great! Let’s keep playing hard and finish strong. For those who are wondering, the post season dates are MAY 8 (Varsity quarterfinals), MAY 9 (Varsity Semi-finals), and MAY 11 (JV and Varsity Championship games). All post-season games will be played at Rockhurst University (1100 Rockhurst Rd, Kansas City, MO 64110). I will let everyone know the times when we find out what seed we are.
