Coaching requires a lot of time, knowledge, energy, effort, and patience (this list could go on and on).  Being a coach is not to be taken lightly and one must be fully committed to being there for our youth.  You are not only acting as a coach but you also work towards bettering your local chapter and most importantly bettering our youth.  A great coach not only teaches the game of football but also teaches about life, responsibilites, respect, ownership, and teamwork.  Through this it is hoped the player/cheerleader will learn a sense of belonging.  Of course, let's not forget building a relationship and a sense of trust with the parents.

If you are interested in coaching or becoming a cheer director with your local chapter please note the following.

CCYFL requires the following to be considered for a coaching/cheer director position:

CCYFL Coach and Cheer Application (link below)

CCYFL Coach and Cheer Ethics Pledge (link below)

Fingerprinting/Background Check

USA Football Head's Up Certification  www.usafootball.com

Local chapters are responsible for selecting coaches/cheer directors for their chapter and submitted to CCYFL for final approval.   Please contact your local chapter for more information.
