Clairemont Hilltoppers is sporting a brand new look for our exciting 50th season in 2006. In what has been (and continues to be) a very busy offseason, a number of significant improvements are taking shape. Foremost among these is the building of an all-new scorebooth building on our Padres field. This scorebooth, envisioned as part of our master plan when the Little Padres Park was built in 1998, has been the cause of both frustration and anticipation in the years since the field was first opened. But thanks to the leadership of Bob Faudoa, this is becoming a reality. The basic structure is up, and our dedicated volunteers are working furiously to finish walls, windows, roofing and electricity. Obviously, the goal is to have this project completed by Opening Day, March 4th. In order to do this we need help from our Hilltoppers family.
