This Saturday, February 4, will be the final week of tryouts for the 2006 season. Be sure to have your child bring their glove and cleats (if they have them) when you come. Five- and six-year-olds do not need to tryout. All players must attend a minimum of two tryouts (barring rain). Tryout times are as follows: 7-year-olds: 8:30 a.m. 8-year-olds: 9:15 a.m. 9-year-olds: 10 a.m. 10-year-olds: 11 a.m. 11-year-olds: 12 noon 12-year-olds: 1 p.m. 13- and 14-year-olds: 11:30 a.m. Any child who will be 5-years-old by July 31, 2006 but not yet 19-years-old before May 1, 2006 is eligible to play Little League Baseball or Softball this year. Just come to registration with an original birth certificate for each child, along with proof of residency (driver’s license, voter registration card, SDG&E bill, Pac Bell bill, water bill, or rent receipt). Each child signing up must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as well. Complete information about fees, fundraiser, etc. will be available at registration.
