12U 2007

The 12U Spikes finish 3rd at Bowling Green during the Total Fitness Spring Challenge held on April 14 and 15. The Spikes were defeated by Grassland of Nashville, TN and the Western Kentucky Patriots of Paducah, KY in their first two games. After the slow start the Spikes returned to better form defeating the Elizabethtown A's. With that win the Spikes were provided the opportunity to face the Western Kentucky Patriots for a rematch. The Spikes held on for the victory and advanced to play Marice Pool and Spas Yankees of Owensboro. The Spikes jumped out to an early lead but the Yankees came back strong to defeat the Spikes. The Yankees did claim the tournament championship with two more victories over Grassland.
