10U 2006

On May 28 the Spikes brought home 2nd Place trophies from the Memorial Weekend Bash held in Owensboro, KY.  This was another great tournament and the boys played very well.  They stayed in the winner's bracket all the way through to Sunday afternoon where they fell 10-9 to the Evansville Spikes in a very hard fought game.  We ended up meeting the Evansville Spikes again in the championship game where we ended up on the short end of a 4-3 ballgame.  It was another exciting weekend of baseball and coming home 2nd in a field of 16 teams is something all of these boys should be very proud of.
