MAPA had several paddlers travel to upstate NY this weekend to compete in races at the General Clinton Canoe Regatta. Kyle McLain paddled C-1 Sunday in the 18 mile race and finished 5th. On Monday Rusty & Leza, Vic & Tracy, Tim Jones and Greg Peters paddled in the 70 mile race. Rusty & Leza finished 10th in 8:33:48 C-2 mixed class making this their best finish to date and putting them on the podium. Vic & Tracy finished 22nd in 10:36:35 C-2 mixed class in their first 70 miler finish as a C-2 team. Tim Jones finished 10th in 9:12:23 C-1 Mens 50 & over and Greg Peters finished 14th in 10:01:04 C-1 Mens 50 & Under. Also racing was Rusty's "little" brother Gary McLain who finished 7th in 9:01:16 C-1 Men's 50 & Under. Congrats to all the folks that raced Memorial Day weekend on the Susquehanna River.
