NB Team of the Week – Boys Varsity Soccer

The Boys Varsity Soccer Team knew that last week was the most important part of their season. The Eagles had a tough path to get to the District Championship Game on Friday night but they did not let this get in their way. The Eagles came out with a vengeance defeating Pine Crest, 9-1 in the Quarterfinals and then followed that up with a 5-1 win over Cardinal Gibbons in the Semifinals earning themselves not only a spot in the District Championship Game but also a spot in the Regional Quarterfinals. On Friday night the Boys came out strong once again battling with Coral Springs Charter for 80 minutes and ultimately coming out on top 1-0 to earn the victory and the title of 2017 District Champions! The Eagles now turn their focus to Wednesday night when they host King’s Academy here at NB at 7:00pm in the FHSAA Regional Quarterfinals. Good Luck Eagles…let’s keep it going!!
