The Royals took the field Sunday after losing 2 games to the Woodpeckers looking to get back on track on Sunday against divisonal foe and city rival, Kettering Outlaws. With Losito off the mound and OD at the plate, the Royals were able to capture their first 10 win season in six years, and with 4 games left how many more can the Royals notch in the win column this year? Stay tuned to see. See the full game recap and the stats for Sunday's win in the Schedule section.image
On what would have to be the second hotest day of the year, 1st the Rangers 10-9 game, the Royals faced off in a pair of games against the #3 Woodpeckers with only 9 players on the day... On a weekend where 1/3 of the squad was out of town the "Boys in Blue" gave it their all. To add to the challenge, game one hurler for the Woody's boys was ex-Minor League Hurler, Bryan Braswell. He was able to hold on just long enough to pickup the win and leave his mark with the Royals to remember him by. Hats off to all Royals in attendance, and it was a great performance from all 3 pitchers that took the mound in the sweltering heat and humidity; Griffith, Duffy, and Biron. The Boys in Blue face off in game 3 of the series Thursday night 8:30 at Howell field. Be sure to show up early to get a seat for what hopes to be another close game. Full game recap and stats to follow soon. Special Thanks to the Dean's and Duffy's for helping keeping up us fed and hungry during our rigorous double-headers.image

Biron makes a statement to league to fear the Royals 9-hole... Well some of the time... Okay every now and then.... Well more then than now... :) Biron's blast is the 2nd homerun the Royals have posted from the bottom of the order and it helps motivate the Boys in Blue to a 10-9 win over the Rangers. He took a bunch of good shots... If you don't see yourself be sure to give him a hard time next time you see him!! :) The shots on the site have been reduced for size, but if you see one you like just shoot me an email and I can get you the original. Also, everyone's roster photo has also been added. I still need to get a few of you, but the majority of the team is posted. Be sure to check out your mug on the roster page!!image
