LSL Takes 3rd Place at NSA's Irish Open - 5/2 & 5/3

The Lakeshore Lightning will be participating in the 2008 RBI Catonsville Indoor Games on Saturday 1/26/08. The games have been posted on the calendar and in the game schedule. Terry asks that all players be ready for practice at 8:15 AM on Saturday.

The Lakeshore Lightning will be participating in the 2008 Winter Diamonds Qualifier on Saturday 1/19/08. This is a one day tournament of three games. Will post times when made available.
The Lake Shore Lightning had a great experience at the NSA World Series held in Columbus Ohio. There was a total of 29 teams that participated in the 10 & Under division....many who were the state champions of their participating state.
The Lightning had a fantastic start beating the Lady Dominators from Ohio with a score of 14-0. They next faced teams from North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio in some exciting and challenging games. The Lightning finished in 9th place and was eliminated by the Indiana Dreams who eventually finsished 3rd at the World Series.
It was a wonderful experience for all the girls most who had never experienced the NSA World Series previously. Best Wishes to all the 2006 Lake Shore Lightning team in their future endeavors!
