Despite having only 3/4ths of the full squad, Sorcerer Gold still managed to score an impressive 27 runs over 5 games while shutting out all competition this weekend at the Grapettes Showcase in Stockton. The highlight of the weekend came during the second game when UCLA-bound Samantha Camuso crushed a 3 run homer that sailed 230+ feet across right-center field into the second row of the parking lot. (Whew, my car was in the first row!) In the last 10 games, Sorcerer has scored an incredible 52 runs while allowing only 2. Check out (and order!) some great action shots from the showcase under "Sorcerer Art 3."
For those looking for excitement, the Sorcerer Gold team provided plenty this weekend at the Running Rebels Showcase of Talent in Stockton. Facing top competition, Sorcerer Softball scored 25 runs and allowed only 2 in 5 games this weekend in the Running Rebels Showcase of Talent!

Bob Stauder
No, that's not Crocodile Dundee under the hat. That is Bob Stauder, parent of former Sorcerer and UC Davis infielder Julie Stauder, member of the Sorcerer 2002 and 2003 18A National Championship teams. When not watching his daughter play for UC Davis, Bob serves as de facto head of player marketing for Sorcerer Gold. If you want information about our players and our coaches are not available, feel free to contact Bob Stauder.
