Englishbey Hitting Clinics

Steve Englishbey, one of the nation's most respected softball and baseball hitting instructors, will conduct a series of Northern California clinics for coaches and players this weekend. On Friday, May 11, Mr. Englishbey will conduct a clinic for coaches from 6:30 to 9:30 PM at Sorcerer Softball Academy in San Ramon, CA. Mr. Englishbey will discuss and demonstrate the MLB or elite swing and offer tips and drills for coaches to aid their players in the development of a high-level swing Cost is $50. Seating is limited to 50 coaches so reservations should be made in advance. On Saturday, May 12, Mr. Englishbey will offer two player sessions on hitting mechanics at Dublin High School in Dublin, CA. The first is from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and the second is from 1 to 5 p.m. The cost is $40.00. On Sunday, May 13, Mr. Englishbey will offer small group sessions for players starting at 9 AM at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, CA. Cathi Aradi
Sorcerer will sponsor a recruiting clinic featuring leading fastpitch recruiting expert Cathi Aradi, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at the Veteran's Hall in Danville. Cathi will outline the recruiting process and will help make players and parents aware of the most effective way to reach the collegiate level, often with scholarship assistance. Aradi is founder of Collegiate Softball Connection, a highly-respected recruiting service, and is author of "Preparing to Play Softball at the Collegiate Level". Admission is free to Sorcerer players, coaches and families, and is $10 to non-Sorcerer families. The Veterans Hall is located at 400 Hartz Ave. in downtown Danville.
