News and Announcements

Day one of the Sorcerer summer season featured perfect weather, but a bit less than perfect play, with Sorcerer winning two of three games in showcase format play in Stockton and earning as many runs as we gave up. With 2 triples in 3 games, Jordan Wallace led the Sorcerers in the power hitting department. However, it was Maya Burns who demonstrated the most consistency at the plate, with 6 hits in 7 at bats, including one triple to deep left-center field in the third game. Also contributing triples were Ashley Rose and Whitney Shaw, who belted the ball deep into the outfield.
Katie Fleury Notre Dame-bound Katie Fleury led off the game with an inside-the-park home run down the right-line, part of her 3-for-4 day. "Fleury always sets the tone for the game with her first at-bat," third-year Archbishop Mitty coach Sarah Caudle said. "That's a lot of pressure, but she is the type of player who loves those situations."
Coach John Rebstock Coach John Rebstock lead Heritage High School to the North Coast Section 2-A East Bay Championship.
