Breana Kosreba leads Santa Cruz county in home runs [9], walks [20], doubles [12], and runs [45]....
That kind of offensive production helped the Mariners go 12-0 to win the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League title this season and earn the No. 2 seed in the Central Coast Section D-III playoffs with a 20-1 overall record.
Across Northern Califonia and Nevada, Sorcerer players lead their high school teams and leagues.
- Chelsa Suitos (Elk Grove) was named to the Delta River All League Team.
- Alexis Pickett (Fairfield) was named to the All-City Team, and All-Solano County Athletic Conference First Team for the third time.
- Jessica Moore (Sutter) was named MVP of the All-Northern Section, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Ashley Decker (Reno) was named to the All-High Desert All-League First Team, to the 4A North All-Region Team, to the Las Vegas Review-Journal All-State Team, and to the Under Armour All-American Team.
- Whitney Shaw (Marin) was named to the Marin County Athletic All-League First Team.
- Breana Kostreba (Aptos) was named MVP of the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League.
- Jordan Wallace (Fairfield) was named MVP of the Monticello Empire League and to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro Second Team, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Alex Robben (Napa) was named to the Monticello Empire League All-League Team, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Michelle Gascoigne (Benicia) was named SCAC Pitcher of the Year.
- Amber Roszkos (Benicia) was named to the SCAC All-League Team.
- Emily Allard (Antioch) was named MVP of the Bay Valley Athletic League, and to the San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro First Team, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Hannah Williams (Brentwood) was named to the Bay Valley Athletic All League First Team, and to the San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro First Team, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Sammy Albanese (Palo Alto) was named MVP of the West Bay Athletic League, and to the CalHiSports All-State Team.
- Whitney Massey (North Salinas) was named to the Tri-County Athletic League All League First Team.
