After earning all-state honors for the second straight year following a season in which she hit .563 with an on-base percentage of .592 and 28 steals in 30 attempts for 4A state champion Spanish Springs, Sorcerer Ashley Decker is bound for the inaugural Under Armour All-American softball game July 20 in Orlando, Fla.
Sorcerer Chelsea Suitos received a Golden Glove award and was named to the Delta River All League Team.
Sorcerer Jordan Wallace was named to the Sacramento Bee All Metro Second Team.

Reprising their fall performance, Sorcerer scored 45 runs while allowing only 1 in the Runnin' Rebels June Classic this weekend.

Sorcerer bats were consistent, punctuated by homeruns by Stanford-bound catcher Maya Burns on Saturday and Mississipp State-bound outfileder Courtney Moore on Sunday.

But the real story may have been Sorcerer defense, which shut out 4 teams and allowed only a single run in five games.

Sorcerer picked up 5'4" catcher Alexis Pickett of Rodriguez HS '09 in Fairfield who more than held her own in the hit fest this weekend.

Sorcerer continues play in Las Vegas next weekend.
