Jordan to play for Memphis Tigers.

"I chose Univ. of Memphis because I really like the location, culture, and people. The school has everything I was looking for in a D1 college like other competitive softball program, a variety of other sports, great academic programs, and honors programs. After researching the different conferences for D1 softball, playing in the Conference USA was one of my top choices. I am excited to be a part of a newer softball program and play D1 softball."

SAN LUIS OBISPO – The Cal Poly Athletics Department and Mustang softball program recently announced the largest National Letter of Intent signing class during head coach Jenny Condon’s six-year tenure. The eight-player contingent, set to arrive for the 2011 season, includes four infielders, three outfielders and one of the nation’s standout catchers.

“We're excited about our 2010 recruiting class, which is an extremely talented and athletic group,” said Condon, whose 2009 Mustangs finished 41-12 and set program records for winning percentage (.774), Big West winning percentage (.857), conference victories (18), fewest conference defeats (three) and fewest overall defeats. “Offensively, we've recruited both power and speed and, defensively, this group is very versatile. I think several of them will compete for starting positions immediately.”
