LEAGUE PLAY
Open to Intermediate and Advanced Players who are at least 22 years of age by December 31, 2005 Determination of skill level (Novice, Intermediate or Advanced) will be made by the Senior Hockey Committee (Paul Tomann 216-990-5251, Bob Warshawsky 216-831-0733 and Mike Moore 440-585-4113, Tim Bauman 216-541-8060 x397).
Plans are for a total of eight to ten teams, in two divisions, based upon skill level. The A Division is for A and B players, while the B Division is for B and C players. While B players may play in either division, no player may play in both divisions. Each team will have from 11 to 13 skaters, plus a goalie.
Each team will play approximately 24 regular season games, plus playoffs. Each team will play generally once per week on either Monday (9:30 or 10:15 pm), Tuesday (10:00 pm) or Wednesday (9:45 or 10:00 pm), although it is possible that a team will occasionally play two games in a given week.
THE DETERMINATION OF HOW MANY TEAMS THERE WILL BE AND THE START OF THE REGULAR SEASON DEPENDS ENTIRELY UPON PLAYERS SIGNING UP PROMPTLY. ALL PLAYERS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO PLAYED LAST YEAR) WHO DO NOT SIGN UP BY SEPTEMBER 7 RISK BEING EXCLUDED FROM THE LEAGUE. WE WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THE SCHEDULE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER AND TO START THE REGULAR SEASON ON SEPTEMBER 19.
Helmets and HECC-approved face masks or half shields are required.

Thanks for a great season. Be sure to check back over the summer for more information on pick-up hockey and for other league news. The league information for the 2005-06 Winter League should be posted by sometime in August.
In the meantime, I will be doing some updating of the site and putting up pictures and profiles for players where available. If you are a player in the league and would like your profile updated or want to send a picture for your profile (the profiles are accessible from the roster link on your teams page. If you click on your name a little profile pops up), click on my name at the bottom of the left hand column and email me your info.
Take care and have a wonderful summer.
