Pre-season starts this week!!!

Posted by Sharon Webmaster at Aug 24, 2008 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

B Division pre-season/try-outs start tonight and A Division tomorrow night.  Below is some information for new and returning players.

New Players:

You will be required to attend several of the try-out/warm-up sessions so that you can be properly assessed and placed on a team in the correct division.  There is no additional cost to attend these sessions and they are a pick-up hockey format.  Please see Paul Tomann in the lobby before taking the ice.  If you have not registered online, you can see Paul and pay by check or cash at that time.  If you are beginning level player and are unsure if you are experienced enough to play in the league, please contact Paul Tomann at 216-990-5251 before registering online.

Returning Players:

The try-out/warm-up sessions are for everyone (however, this year they are divided into separate sessions for the A division players and B division players, so please be sure to attend the sessions for your division) and are at no additional cost to returning players as well.  Please take this opportunity to come out and get some practice before the season starts.  Paul Tomann will be available at the rink at the majority of these sessions to take your registrations and payments (cash or check) if you haven’t already registered online.

Posted by Sharon Webmaster at Aug 24, 2008 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

We will be tracking Game Misconducts/Suspensions for both leagues on the website this year so that they are visible to any team at any time. They are also evident on the cumulative stats for each league and are marked with a *. The rule regarding Game Misconducts is stated below:

Any player receiving a game misconduct will be ineligible for his team's next game as well. The second game misconduct of a season will result in disqualification for the next six games. The third misconduct of a season will result in disqualification for the balance of the season. A fighting penalty is an automatic game misconduct.
