The Bears played an awesome game vs. Walsh Jesuit today...so awesome that it went into overtime when the score was tied 2-2 at the end of the third period. The whole game kept you on the edge of your seat...lots of action...lots of passing...lots of hockey...Bears, you should be proud of the game you played today! Walsh Jesuit wound up scoring in overtime, resulting in a league loss for the Bears. The Bears, however, will still receive a point in their totals for the league due to finishing the three periods in a tie per the North Coast High School Hockey League bylaws. The Bears will finish their league season next weekend, playing Rocky River on Saturday and PUMA on Sunday. Good luck, Bears!

The Bears lost to Gilmour tonight in their league game, 3-1. They lost two points in the first period and had a hard time trying to gain them back. They were able to hold Gilmour during the second period. Despite a great effort in the third period and scoring one point, Gilmour came back and scored another point making it 3-1. The Bears play Brecksville next Saturday @ Ice Land USA in a non-league game and then play Walsh Jesuit on Sunday @ Ice Land USA for another "crucial" league game. Good luck, Bears!

The Bears won tonight in a "crucial" league against Medina, 4-3! Medina and North Royalton have enjoyed a long-time, friendly rivalry, and you just never know how the game is going to end. Up to tonight's game, Medina was tied for first place in the North Coast High School Hockey League with Lakewood Club, and North Royalton was in third. (See www.northcoasthighschoolhockeyleague.com.) Medina took the lead 2-0 in the first period and scored a third goal in the second. The Bears came into the third losing 3-0, but by the time half the period was over, the Bears had tied it up, 3-3. Colton Corlett scored the winning goal with SIX SECONDS left! What a game! The Bears will be playing another league game on Sunday against Gilmour, which can be another "crucial" league game for the Bears. Good luck, Bears!
