SCHL Spring League Champs!
The Trumbull Eagles won the 2016 SCHL High School Spring League championship by beating Chesire high school in the best of three series. The Eagles came back from a 2-0 deficit, scoring three goals in the third to steal game #1 then took the Rams by another close 3-2 contest to win the trophy. Solid goaltending and a great team effort were the keys to the Eagles' success. Trumbull got to the finals after beating Glastonbury in the semi-final, a game that took overtime and then a shoot-out to decide the winner. Carson Brooks notched the shoot-out goal to help the Eagles advance.
