Trumbull Eagles Hockey

The Trumbull Eagles will participate in the CT Junior Varsity Hockey League this season. THS will play ten junior varsity games as well as the league tournament. Schedules, standings, scores, etc. can be viewed at:

The Trumbull Eagles put in another solid performance at the 2019 Heuchling Swift Hockey Tournament. It was the Eagles third trip to the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore Arena for a the tournament they won back in 2017. Trumbull opened the tournament with a 4-2 come from behind victory over Portsmouth (NH) followed by a 3-0 win over Biddeford (ME). The THS skaters fell short in the final, a hard fought 2-1 loss to Martha’s Vineyard.

Alternate captain, Marco Minopoli earns his first POW of the season.  The defenseman brings a great mix of skill and toughness to the Trumbull blue line.  He currently leads all skaters with 149 hits and leads all defensemen in points (13), goals (3) and assists (10).  The Eagles count on the junior for leadership both on and off the ice.
