Junior, Zach Jager has come into his own this season and is playing with the confidence of an impact player. Thus far, the defenseman has been one of the Eagle’s most consistent performers. He is an extremely smart player who sees the ice and moves the puck with the best of them. On a number of occasions this year, he has elevated his play during games when the team needed a jump start or to get the black and gold back on track. One of those occasions was this past weekend against Staples. After a uninspiring first period, the Eagles turned it up in the second and third for a 6-1 win led by Jager who contributed 2 goals and 2 assists from the blue line.
