Springdale opened with a 15-0 victory. Gavin McCullough pitched a complete game two-hitter with ten strikeouts and also had two hits. Tommy Coppolla had two hits including a big triple in the first inning to start the rally. Jordan Scalise, Mike Tiscia and Jon Rather also had hits in the game which last 3.5 innings.
