LOU TROSCH COMMITS TO GUILFORD COLLEGE !

2011 LOU TROSCH has committed to attend school and play baseball at GUILFORD COLLEGE. Lou will join the Quakers following his senior year at East Mecklenburg High School where he will help lead the Eagles this spring in their quest of a SW4A title.

CHIP HELTON TO UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA GREENSBORO

2011 CHIP HELTON - East Rutherford High School has committed to attend school and play baseball at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA GREENSBORO. Chip will join the Spartans following his senior season at East Rutherford where he is helping to lead the 2010 defending NC State 2A Champion Cavs in their 2011 season.

Congratulations to Chip; his parents Kevin and Jennifer and brothers Brock and Preston.

CAMERON TEKKER SCP 2012  RHP - Cuthbertson HS has been selected to the PG Preseason Underclass 2nd Team All American Team.

JACKSON CAMPANA SCP 2012  IF - Providence HS was selected to the PG Preseason Underclass 3rd Team All American Team.

Ty Buttrey 2012 Providence HS; Payden Honeycutt 2012 Weddington HS; Brody Koerner 2012 JM Robinson HS; Trent Thornton 2012 Ardrey Kell HS and Kyle Whitman 2012 Nation Ford HS were all selected to the PG Preseason Underclass High Honorable Mention Team.

Brian Donovan 2012 Cuthbertson HS; Nathan Helvey 2012 Fort Mill HS; Preston Tiller 2012 Ardrey Kell HS and Colby Barnette 2013 Piedmont HS were all selected Honorable Mention.

SCP 2012 JOHN MANGUM: Catcher - Cuthbertson High School has been selected to the Louisville Slugger Pre Season High School All American Team.

SCP 2011 JAKE FINCHER: SS - Providence High School/North Carolina State has also been selected to the Louisville Slugger Pre Season First Team All American Team.

RAWLINGS PRE SEASON HIGH SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN TEAMS

CHRIS McCUE (Ardrey Kell) was selected to the first team Atlantic Region.

JAKE FINCHER, DEMETRUS INGRAM, ALEX LEACH, BRADLEY MORTON and LOGAN RATLEDGE were all selected to the second team Atlantic Region.

Jeffery Springs, Stephen Gilmore, Nick Silva, Bull Barber, Chip Helton, Hayden Hendry, Brett Lang, Max Povse, Corey Dick and Jamie Nunn were selected honorable mention Atlantic Region

SCP 2011 LOGAN RATLEDGE: SS - Ardrey Kell High School/North Carolina State - Finalist for Greater Charlotte Player of the Year.

SCP 2011 ALEX LEACH: 1B - Ardrey Kell High School/Appalachian State - Finalist for Come Back Player of the Year.

SCP 2012 BRODY KOERNER: P - JM Robinson High School/Clemson - Finalist for Greater Charlotte Pitcher of the Year.

SCP 2011 STEPHEN GILMORE: p - Assembly Christian/Gardner Webb - Finalist for Greater Charlotte Scholar Athlete of the Year.

SCP Coach TRAVIS LITTLE - Cuthbertson High School was voted the 2011 Coach of the Year and Cuthbertson was a finalist for Team of the Year. SCP/Cuthbertson players are John Mangum; Cameron Tekker; JD Long and Brian Donovan.

 JD LONG COMMITS TO WESTERN CAROLINA !!

2012 JD LONG committed to attend college and play baseball at WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY. JD will join the Catamounts following his high school career at Cuthbertson High School where he will help lead the Cavaliers on the diamond.
