HITE MERRIFIELD SIGNS WITH WAKE FOREST
SCP 2019 HITE MERRIFIELD - Davie County HS has signed his NLI to attend college and play baseball at WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY. Hite will join the Deamon Deacons this winter at the semester break.

DEVIN BARTELY COMMITS TO NORTH CAROLINA A & T
SCP 2018 DEVIN BARTELY - Southeast Guilford HS has committed to attend college and play baseball at NORTH CAROLINA A&T. Devin will join the Aggies following his prep career and with the Panthers.

NATHAN BAROLET COMMITS TO GARDNER WEBB
SCP 2018 NATHAN BAROLET - Hayesville HS has committed to attrend college and play baseball at GARDNER WEBB UNIVERSITY. Nathan will join the Bulldogs after his career with SCP/SCC and his high school.

CONNER VANCLEAVE AWARDED KANSAS GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
SCP 2017 Conner VanCleave - Holcomb High School is the 2017 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year. Conner led Holcomb to the Kansas 4A State Championship. He finished his senior season 8-1 on the mound with a 0.288 ERA and Struck Out 101 in 49 IP. At the plate Conner hit .768 (43 - 56) with 14 Doubles; 6 Triples; 5 HRs while driving in 53 Runs. Conner finished his high school career with 2 State Titles in baseketball and 1 State Title in football. He was voted All State a total of 9 times across the 3 sports.
OWEN WHITE NAMED NORTH CAROLINA 3A PLAYER OF THE YEAR
SCP 2018 Owen White - Carson High School has been named the NC High School Coaches Association 3A Player of the Year. Owen finished 8-1 on the mound with a 0.328 ERA while striking out 94 in 64IP. At the plate Owen hit .473 (43-91) with 12 doubles; a triple; 2HRs; driving in 22 and scoring 24 runs. When not pitching he played SS with a .959FA while turning 10 double plays.
