OWEN WHITE DRAFTED BY TEXAS RANGERS
SCP 2018 OWEN WHITE - Jesse Carson High School was drafted in the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft by the TEXAS RANGERS in the 2nd Round with the 55th selection.
Owen has been named the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year this year in addition to NC All State 3A; Rowan County Pitcher of the Year and Co Player of the Year. He was also recently named the Rowan County Male Athlete of the Year.
Owen finished his senior year with a 10-1 record. Struck out 101 batters with a 0.22 ERA. At the plate he hit .333 with 10 Doubles and 2 HRs.
