Sorry, no in the park homers count.
New this year, we have decided to add some new teams. In Majors, the Rockies and Mets will become the A's and Angels. In the Minors, Farm, and T-ball the Mets and Rockies will be replaced with the Angels and Padres. We wanted to have more local California teams so it would be easier to find team apparel.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but the last 4 games are critical for us to achieve a huge goal this year. We squeaked a win out against the Rockies on Wed. night with some great pitching and some equally great hitting. We ran aggressive, and got caught a few times. It happens, but thats what we are going to continue to do. Mikey gave up a hit with 4 K's, and Tyler gave 3 hits backed by 5 K's. Steven, Christopher, Nick, Cody, and Garrett all had hits, in a great win....Only 3 games left, and we are on the right track. Way to go METS !!!
In a "Must Win" game on Friday Night, one of the little guys came up big for the Mets. Trevor "Thunder" Patterson delievered a double in the gap to score the winning run, and essentially sealing the title of Major Champions for the Mets. Trevor went 2-2 that night, and along with some great pitching again from Mike and Tyler, the Mets look to be back to back Champions. Mike and Tyler also went 2-2, to help their team. CONGRATULATIONS METS!!!
